THINGS TO SEE AND DO
Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach A must-do activity is the walk up to Hill Inlet at the north end of Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island, the largest of the islands. From there you'll enjoy one of the best views of the beach. Stick around a while and as the tides shift, see the amazing swirling colours as the white sand merges into the shimmering blue water - an incredible natural spectacle not to be missed.
Swimming and snorkelling
The Whitsunday Islands are perfect for swimming and snorkelling. The water is calm and stays above 25 degrees most of the year. Imagine strolling into the blue water from the white beach or diving from your yacht to cool off. The Islands are surrounded by coral reefs that are home to a variety of marine life. Snorkel from the yacht or straight from the shore. Either way, the colours are amazing.
Watch the sun go down
Imagine yourself kicking back on the deck of your yacht after a "hard" day on the beach, glass in hand watching one of the world's most natural spectacular shows - the sun slowly setting in the west. And after you've chilled out - let's get this party started!
Enjoy livin' on the yacht
A massive part of your Stray Whitsunday Islands trip is living the good life - on your own private 76' yacht. As well as cruising through the Islands, it's your home for a couple of days. There are cosy bunks below deck or you can choose to sleep on deck under the stars. As well as your Stray Guide, your yacht crew will be with you all the way - and these guys like to party at the end of the day.
