I did the north island with Stray and loved it!!! Couldnt recomend it more, had the best time, it was always awesome people, the drivers were absolutely wicked, always did their job driving and guiding perfectly and always came out after driving for drinks, dinner or activities! The people were all ages mostly 18-30 but some older people as well which made the groups perfect with a bit of partying, not much partying and no pressure to do anything you dont want to do but everyone pretty much ocmes out for a drink and does the activities which is awesome.... I finished the Stray Journey on cook pass (23 days north and south island) recently and I would highly recommend! The people is what made it for me. Shout out to Muesli, Golluuum and Lantern for making the whole experience #sweetas! The accommodation is varied from what felt like luxury lodges to hostels to bunks on the overnight boat trip, so was great to see the different styles.
