We are calling all budding photographers, videographers and even the amateur ‘point and shooters’ to share your best Stray moments with us and be in the running to win a $2000 Travel Credit to be used in New Zealand, Asia* or Australia!

THE THEME:
“Capture the Spirit of Stray”
This year's Spirit of Stray competition embodies everything that we love about travel. From the connections we make with fellow adventurers to the jaw-dropping sights we lay eyes on and the fascinating cultures we immerse ourselves in. It's YOU, our travellers, who have lived and breathed the adventures who are best able to capture this!
If your photo/video encapsulates elements of exciting adventures, new experiences, good times shared with good people, getting further off the beaten track and meeting local communities then you are on the right track. Take a look at some of our previous finalists for inspiration:
THE PRIZES!
BEST PHOTO: New Zealand or Australia
$2000 (or *USD$1250) towards any Stray tour in any region. i.e. NZ$2000 towards an NZ tour, AU$2000 towards an AU tour, US$1250 towards a Stray Asia tour.
RUNNER UP BEST PHOTO: New Zealand or Australia
$500 (or USD$350) towards any Stray tour in any region. i.e. NZ$500 towards an NZ tour, AU$500 towards an AU tour, US$350 towards a Stray Asia tour.
BEST VIDEO: All regions
$2000 (or *USD$1250) towards any Stray tour in any region. i.e. NZ$2000 towards an NZ tour, AU$2000 towards an AU tour, US$1250 towards a Stray Asia tour.
HOW TO ENTER:
1) Submit your best Stray Photo(s) and/or Video(s) from your trip that captures the “Spirit of Stray” via our submission form before Monday, 9th September 2024 (entries close at 9am NZ time).
2) Photos must be minimum 1MB and 72dpi (preferably 300dpi, if available).
3) Feel free to enter more than one photo/video!
THE SELECTION PROCESS:
1) Finalists to be selected and notified by Thursday, 3rd of October 2024. Finalists' photos/videos will be posted to Stray’s Facebook Page and Instagram Page.
2) The voting period will be open to the public from the time posted on Thursday, 3rd October until Thursday, 10th of October 2024 (closing at 9am NZ time on 10th October). One “Like” is considered one vote. The top 2 images from each region that achieve the most ‘likes’ during the voting period will be entered in the final judging round.
3) Stray’s judging panel will select a winner from the top images and videos in each category. 1x NZ Photo Winner and 1x Australia Photo Winner
4) Judges will select a winner in each category from the top finalists! Winners announced via Stray Travel's Facebook and Instagram pages on Friday, 11th October 2024.
