Cape Foul wind has a walkway that takes you past a seal colony and a lighthouse and provides panoramic views of mountains and the west coast.
You can choose a short walk (15mins / 500m) or the longer 3.4km walk around the cape.
On the way from Abel Tasman to Westport Stray stop at Cape Foulwind to visit the seal colony (30min return walk from Tauranga Bay carpark).
New Zealand fur seals can been seen here all year round.
