This walk begins at The Divide,
85 km along the Milford Road from Te Anau.

The Key Summit Hike is an easy half day walk on a part of the famous Routeburn Track (one of the Great Walks).
The first hour is an easy part of the track through native rainforest and sub-alpine shrub lands.
A sign then marks the turn off to Key Summit.
From here it is a 20 minute climb to the summit.
You'll be rewarded with views of the Humbolt and Darran Mountains.
