Jump aboard the Sophie-Rose, a purpose built 6m fishing boat, for breath-taking scenery and bountiful fishing. The friendly local crew will teach you their top fishing tips and show you how to pull up a crayfish pot and fish in some of the most abundant waters in New Zealand. Kaikoura does mean 'meal of crayfish' after all!
Keep an eye out for seals, albatross, dolphins and other wildlife.
After you return to dry land, the crew will cook up the crayfish for you to try for your dinner - delicious! Sit around and have a glass of wine, a chat and enjoy some fresh Kai Moana (that's Maori for seafood) for dinner!
