Peters Pool

Peter's Pool was formed from the ice that melted from the glacier and on a clear, calm day the glacier valley and mountains are reflected in the water.

You can get to Peter's Pool from the Glacier access road or Te Ara a Waiau.  

The track is 1.2km and is an easy trek from the carpark. 

To get to the carpark from Franz Josef town, catch a shuttle (unless you fancy walking an extra 5kms each way).
