Located within a World Heritage listed area, Barrington Tops National Park is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. This off-the-beaten-track experience will have you tubing/canoeing down the river and exploring native bushland. This is the perfect place to have a few beers under the stars and get to know your new Stray mates. Oh, and did we mention? You might even be lucky enough to spot a platypus or two playing down by the river at dusk! Talk about magical.

THINGS TO SEE AND DO
Float down the river
Rent a kayak or tube and float down the Barrington River through the World Heritage Barrington Tops National Park and spot kangaroos and platypus along the way. It's the perfect way to be immersed into original Gondwanaland rainforest in all its beauty.
Explore the walking trails
Wander through native bush along a 5km walking trail next to your accommodation. Admire the views along the mountain and go for a swim in the river - the dream!
Spot wildlife
From platypus, wallabies, kangaroos, bandicoots, hares, owls, eagles, possums and rabbits. Barrington Tops is a haven for wildlife, so get your nerd on and see what you can find.
Experience a local farm tour
Take a 4WD to meet the calves, lambs, cows and pigs and learn more about life on a rural Australian farm.

This beautiful property sits on the banks of the Karuah River, right on the edge of the National Park. The Bunkhouse, where Stray stay, is a large complex with 28 bunk rooms, sleeping up to 4 people in each. There's a common room with pool tables, kitchen and undercover BBQ area.
