Maraehako Bay
Maraehako Bay is a small town on the East Coast of the North Island. Maraehako means ‘a place of meeting for good people’ and the place we stay at is just that. The hostel is absolute beachfront and you can head out to go swimming, kayaking, snorkeling or catch your own crayfish for dinner. There is also an old ‘Pa’ (Maori settlement) you can visit.
