Starts and finishes in Rotorua and runs summer only. Three days minimum and is great for people who want to chill out on amazing beaches and immerse themselves in Maori culture – can be added to any pass that goes through Rotorua.

NB Go East now overnights in Tokomaru Bay on its second night instead of Gisborne. We still pass through Gisborne on our way back to Rotorua.

Highlights include:
- Being welcomed onto a Marae to learn about Maori history and culture (a truly unique and amazing experience)

- Options of bone carving, weaving, fishing, Maori medicine bush tour, Marae and carving history tour, horse riding, sun bathing, surfing, all by being guided by local Maori (so you have better access and knowledge).

- Dive Tatapouri - stingray feeding and reef experience, fishing, amazing surf, eco tours, wildlife including penquins, dolphins and seals.

- Rere waterfalls and rockslide. The East Cape is the first in the world to see the sunrise - see it rise right from your hostel on the beach.
