The Short Arthur Bus Pass

Short West, South to Auckland with Express

West Coast of the South Island finishing in Auckland. The Short Arthur expresses from Christchurch to Barrytown so you can experience West Coast culture and the Glaciers, then onto Queenstown for adventure and nightlife and then an express back to Christchurch. From Christchurch you express up to Auckland with brief overnight stops in Kaikoura (whale watching), Wellington (nation’s capital) and an optional one in Taupo.

Good if have under 10 days and want to start in Christchurch and finish in Auckland OR 2 weeks and want to spend a couple of extra days somewhere.

TRAIN JOURNEY UPGRADE

This pass includes a Free Express over Arthur's Pass to Barrytown. You can upgrade this to a Tranzalpine train journey for an extra $80.

For the Tranzalpine option we need at least 3 days notice to book and places are not always guaranteed. We will contact you with confirmation of booking and instructions on how to pay the extra $85.
