I'll be going to Auckland with my sister and parents in May 2011. Is this pass suitable for age 56 & 54?
At the Maori Village, how is the accomodation like? Any choice of quad or double/twin room?
Are there entrance fees for locations in this itinerary? What extra expenses do we expect to incur?

i was arranging my pick up from wellington to picton, it was coming up that if i stop over in wellington, my pick up is from picton and vice versa. does this mean i have to arrange crossing in the ferry myself?

Are passes valid for 12 months from the date of purchase or from the first day you use it? I'm sure I read somewhere that it was from the first day of travel but I've read elsewhere that it's from the day you buy it.

This summer I'm going to NZ to do my internship. After my internship I want to travel with Stray to explore NZ! I really like the Short Max pass and it is now in sale. But this is only until the 31th of March. If you buy this pass, do you already need to know the date of departure?
Because if this is the case I can already buy the pass!

Hi there.
I'm planning to head to NZ for 6 weeks from 2nd week of June until about the last week in July. As it is your Winter time at that time - just wondering is there a major difference in what's offered on your programme / timetable structure?
What would be the best pass for me to purchase? Obviously, I would be looking for a pass that would give me as full an experience of the two islands as possible.
Just a quick query about how the 'get on, get off' thing operates. This obviously means that the group that you start off with will not be the same group that you finish with? I would find it a shame should I have built up a rapport with a group and then have to bid adieu to them after a short while.
In terms of the breakdown of groups, approx. how many are on a Stray bus? Is there a good mix of ages and nationalities?

I am going to the South Island In July and I would really like to do the Willy Tour for 11 days. I want to begin at Picton and end in Picton. This is possible I understand? I have never done this before, so i hope you can explain how the timetable works? My main question is how much the willy tour will be in the winter month July, because I guess it is less busy then, so maybe it is more cheap? How long before do I have to book the tour? Just a week, month or day before I go? or can already book now? Is it cheaper for me if I book right now?

how does the short max bus pass work? do i have 2 organise all my bus pickups on the internet or can i do it with my bus driver.? also do you organise tours on the bus for us 2 pay for when we arrive in each town/city? how late can i leave a bus pickup time is it 24 hours ? thanks nick

Good day! I would like to know if I book the maximus pass from jul to aug will it be difficult to have accomodation guarenteed? I am quite interested in this pass but just not very sure about accomodation.
